Bracelet Size Guide

How to find your bracelet size

Whether you already know your size or have no idea where to start, this guide will help you find a bracelet that fits beautifully every time.

Start with your wrist

The right bracelet size depends on the style you choose. Each type fits a little differently, so measure your wrist first, then read the size notes for the bracelet you're interested in.

If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the next size up.

1Measure your wrist

All you need is a soft measuring tape, or a piece of string and a ruler.

  1. Wrap the tape or string around your wrist just above the wrist bone, where you'd normally wear a bracelet.
  2. Keep it snug against the skin but not tight.
  3. Note the measurement, or mark where the string meets and measure it flat against a ruler.
  4. Find your wrist size in the chart below and choose your preferred fit.

Size notes by bracelet type

Tennis bracelets

Our tennis bracelets come in a standard 7" (17.8 cm) length, which fits most wrists measuring about 6"–6.5" with a comfortable, elegant drape.

A tennis bracelet should move freely on the wrist without sliding over your hand. If your wrist is smaller or larger, contact us. Other lengths are available by request.

Bangles

Bangles are rigid, so they need to slide over the widest part of your hand rather than just your wrist. To measure, bring your thumb toward your little finger as if putting on a bangle, then wrap a tape around the widest part of your hand across the knuckles.

Size Hand measurement Inside diameter
XS 6¾"–7¼" 2.25" / 57 mm
S 7¼"–7¾" 2.38" / 60 mm
M Our standard 7¾"–8¼" 2.5" / 63 mm
L 8¼"–8¾" 2.63" / 67 mm
XL 8¾"+ 2.75" / 70 mm

Most of our bangles come in a standard 2.5" (63 mm) inside diameter. Contact us to ask about other sizes.

Chain & link bracelets

Lengths for our chain, link and fancy diamond bracelets vary by design. Check the product description for the exact length, or contact us if it isn't listed.

For most people, the comfort fit column above gives the most flattering result: close enough to stay in place, loose enough to move.

Adjustable bracelets

Our adjustable bracelets use a slider or extender, so one bracelet can be set to fit a range of wrist sizes. They're also a great choice for gifts when you don't know someone's exact size.

Bracelet sizing tips

  • Between sizes? Go up. A slightly loose bracelet is more comfortable and easier to fasten than one that's too tight.
  • The one-finger test. With the bracelet on, you should be able to slide one finger comfortably between the bracelet and your wrist.
  • Wider pieces need more room. Thick, heavy or wide bracelets take up more space around the wrist, so add a little extra length.
  • Stacking. If you'll wear several bracelets together, choose a slightly looser fit so they sit and move nicely as a stack.
  • Buying a gift? Borrow a bracelet they already wear, lay it flat, and measure it from end to end, including the clasp. Or choose an adjustable style.
